Nigerian Rapper Killed In The UK

An 18-year old Nigerian rapper, Isaiah Ekpaloba, has been stabbed to death in the United Kingdom, Thenetng.com reports.
The teenager was allegedly involved in a heated argument with another teenager when a fight broke out and both teenagers suffered stab wounds.

An unnamed friend of the deceased who spoke about him said: He was so full of life and had a cheeky smile and would give you the tightest hug. He wanted to do good things and show the world he was someone special.’
UK police officers have arrested and charged  a 19-year old resident of Wood Green, Jaydee Dorsett, with Ekpaloba’s murder.
A post-Morten examination was immediately conducted on the deceased, which revealed the cause of his death to be shock, haemorrhage and a stab wound to the chest.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command in the UK have reportedly started investigating the case.
It will be recalled that son of veteran sports broadcaster, Aisha Falode, was last year pushed from a 17-storey building by an Arab youth.

6 lines From Meek Mill’s Heaven Or Hell For Inspiration

Life as a startup/ business owner is stressful as hell. Anyone that tells you different is bullshitting you.

There are days you wake up ready to take on the world, then there are days that you wake up and feel like the world just crushed you. The ups and downs are brutal and the honest truth is that the down days will effect you more than those great days.

Blame that on us being human, pain always lasts longer than joy.

I am a huge fan of Meek Mill especially his Dream Chasers series. Something about that mixtape series resonates with me big time, especially when Meek talks about the come up and hardships.
I never sold drugs or shot at anyone, but grew up in a rough neighborhood where all this was normal.
Hear a gunshot, hit the floor. Coast is clear go back to playing dice on the corner. Not the way to live but hey no one chooses to live like this, we do have the choice to get out of that situation though.

One track that I have been bumping big time is Meek Mill’s Heaven or Hell.

Lets go through a few of these bars and what they mean to me.
1) “Sometimes I have to remind myself, that on my worst day I live like somebody on their greatest” DJ Drama

This is something as founder I experience almost everyday. When I am feeling down, I can either let it ruin everything for that day or find a way to #bossup and move along.
Knowing that my worst day can truly be someones best day is an eye opener.

Just being able to do things my own way is a blessing that I take for granted at times. I am sure we all do that, but when those hectic days come along….. I am reminded of my blessing big time.
Having a rough day, think about your friends or others that would love to have that so called bad day you are having.

Couldn’t get the last pair or Jordans? Think about how some people can’t even get fresh water to drink. Do you really have it that bad? Suck it up and think positive.

2) “The things we do just to make it through”
The hook of this track speaks in volumes.

There will be times that you will be forced to do the unimaginable and guess what… you will do it.
Why?
Because it needs to get done to win!
Won’t be able to sleep for 3 days as you push a project, too bad it needs to be done. Sleep will wait.
Some choices will be easier than others but those hard decisions will shape you.
Most people will see all the work that needs to be done and will not even compete. Don’t be that person, get ready to do whatever it takes to win but cheat.

3) “They said I wouldn’t make it or never see the throne” Meek Mill
Haters will forever hate and chances are your vision will never be their vision which is cool.

4) “If we all grind, we all shine, fuck a part time” Meek Mill

Hate your job? Stack some money and bounce. Or better yet start that side hustle so you can really say you are grinding. We even started a course on that so people could #bossup.
If your team/friends all grind together towards the same goals, eventually you all will win as a whole even if you are running different businesses.

5) “I used to pop a lot of shit, now I keep it moderate” Jadakiss
Oh man that was me big time. Always popping shit, trying to prove myself the wrong way.
I learned to stop talking and start executing.
The minute I started to produce instead of talking or asking for advice, things really started to happen.

Made higher quality friends, gained some valuable mentors and started having real confidence.
Action over words also gave me the confidence to accept failure and to learn from it.

6) “We dream chasing, y’all ni**as walking behind wishes. Without working for it, not often you find riches” Jadakiss

Oh man, what’s a dream if you don’t chase it? Where does that dream go, does it just die in your head?
I used to let my dreams get stuck in my head. I was always looking at the hot whips and wished I had it.
Guess what, wishing for it didn’t bring me anything besides cool dreams.
Working to make my dreams a reality will though.
Nothing is ever given to us, but when you put that work in cool things start to happen.
Bosses don’t become bosses by wishing, they go out there and put everything on the line to make it happen.

Remember starting a business is easy, making it the best thing out is harder. Think of why you want to make it and chase it with everything you got.

Meek Mill said, “I’mma get the fam right, ni**a you damn right.” this is my motivation whats yours?
